Description

Un nuovo metodo per produrre Matrice Ossea Demineralizzata (DBM) da osso ovino, innesto utilizzato per indurre la rigenerazione ossea, con qualità potenzialmente superiori a quelle oggi disponibili, sia perché la nuova procedura permette una rimozione praticamente integrale della componente minerale, sia perché i tempi di suddetta rimozione sono molto brevi, dunque poco dannosi nei confronti della componente biologicamente attiva dell’osso trattato. Inoltre si è dimostrato che l’adesione delle cellule mesenchimali staminali alle particelle di DBM dipende dalle dimensioni di quest’ultime e, sulla base di questo dato, è stata individuata la dimensione ottimale delle particelle e definita la tecnica più opportuna per isolarle sulla base della loro granulometria.
