"Books in clothes" exhibition

Bindings of 15th century medical books on display at the Library until 20 December 2022

The 'Books in Clothes' exhibition was inaugurated on 24 May and will continue until 20 December. It is dedicated to the 15th century bindings of ancient medical texts that belonged to Vittorio Putti, director of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute from 1912 to 1940.

The exhibition is curated by Federico Macchi and Patrizia Tomba. It can be visited at the Scientific Library of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute.
