The Rizzoli Hospital is alongside the ancient monastery of San Michele in Bosco, the first seat of the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute. The access to the Orthopaedic- Traumatologic Emergency Ward (open daily to public from 7.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m) is on the left of the main entrance to the hospital.

The Rizzoli Outpatient Clinic is located in Bologna, via di Barbiano 1/13: Outpatient services are provided both under the National Health Service (in the morning) and on a freelance basis (in the afternoon). Please, pay attention to the indications received for the examinations: the outpatient activity takes place both at the Rizzoli Outpatient Clinic (via di Barbiano 1/13) and in the "Nuova Palazzina" at the Rizzoli Hospital (via G.C.Pupilli 1).

At the Mazzolani Vandini Hospital in Argenta (province of Ferrara), the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute manages the following departments: orthopaedics and traumatology; physical and rehabilitation medicine.
