The General Director is responsible for the overall management and realization of decisions passed by the Institute’s Steering Committee.

Appointed by the Emilia-Romagna Region, (according to the Regional Law 23 December 2004, n.29 and further modifications), the General Director is supported in his functions by the Scientific Director, the Administrative Director, the Healthcare Medical Director and the Healthcare Service Director.

The General Director collaborates with various Staff Offices.
