Musculoskeletal imaging diagnostics and interventional-guided, osteo-articular, soft tissue, spine and peripheral nervous system, in collaboration with orthopedic colleagues, rheumatologists, physiatrists, sports medicine doctors, oncologists, with active participation and promotion of multidisciplinary meetings.
Consultant for diagnostic imaging of several sports clubs also professional, such as Bologna FC 1909 (former “social” doctor social) and Virtus and Fortitudo Pallacanestro Bologna, as well as sports rehabilitation centers and orthopedics recognized by FIFA as world-class excellence.
From his degree thesis on Teleradiology (1987), he deals with computer science applied to radiology and was among the first users of digital radiology equipment in Europe and RIS / PACS, and among the first experimenters of transmission at distance of radiological images, with related publications and contacts with numerous fellow visitors, including foreigners.
